Radio station Eight FM recently held the “Eight-PY Birthday” hotpot birthday gathering, inviting loyal listeners to come together and celebrate the station's growth and transformation over the past year. The event took the form of a relaxed hotpot dinner, creating a lively atmosphere where listeners and DJs interacted warmly, sharing laughter throughout the evening.
During the event, Eight FM also revealed for the very first time the station’s brand-new program plans and positioning. Each program DJ took the stage to share the future content directions of their shows, resonating strongly with the attending listeners.
The most touching moment of the night was the live screening of the final episode of "Please, Senior!". Hosts Ah Luo and CC choked up several times during their closing speeches, expressing deep gratitude to their mentors Da Bao, Wayne, Jane, and Jin Rong for their support and guidance over the past month, moving everyone present. Anson also made a surprise appearance during the event, announcing his official return to the program “Ying Ying Lai.” He emotionally shared, “It's truly moving to see the two youngsters grow along the way, and I especially want to thank all the seniors for their selfless companionship during this time.”

Eight FM station manager Shirley also announced at the event that the station will continue to uphold its “listener-centric” philosophy, speeding up digital transformation of its content and moving towards a “younger, more content-rich, and more valuable” direction—fully upgrading the radio experience to better cater to the preferences and needs of today’s generation of listeners.
