(Bandar Seri Begawan, 25th) The K3 students of Sinaran Pelangi School, under the guidance of their teachers, participated in the 'UBD Health Week' event organized by Universiti Brunei Darussalam. Transportation for this outing was provided by UBD.
School Chairman Ms. Lyu Shiyun and Board Academic Supervisor Ms. Zheng Shijuan also took part in the event. They expressed their appreciation and gratitude to UBD for thoughtfully organizing a meaningful health education event for young students.
During the event, the children actively took part in interactive health games designed by students from UBD’s Faculty of Health Sciences. Through these fun and educational activities, the little participants were taught the importance of a healthy lifestyle via games and hands-on experiences.
During the visit, the children also had a brief tour of UBD’s campus and delighted in riding the university’s electric bus. This experience gave them an initial taste of university life and added unforgettable memories to their day.
The school hopes that such activities will encourage students to develop healthy lifestyle habits from an early age and, in the future, inspire their curiosity and aspiration towards higher education.
