Prime Minister and Finance Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim explained the controversy surrounding Housing and Local Government Minister Nga Kor Ming's announcement of allocating RM6.13 million for 33 development projects in the Tapah parliamentary constituency, stating that the announcement was made before the nomination day of the Jelutong by-election.
“This was done before the nomination day; if it was after, we would issue a warning that this should not be done.”
Anwar made this statement today after attending a monthly assembly at the Ministry of Finance, in reference to Nga Kor Ming's announcement.
