(Sibu, 5th) In celebration of the festive season, Deputy Minister of Public Health, Housing and Local Government and Pelawan assemblyman Dato Dr. Tiong Ming Chhiet will distribute 1,000 packs of free minced pork, with each pack weighing one kilogram, to senior citizens in the Pelawan constituency to mark the upcoming Lunar New Year.
Tiong Ming Chhiet stated that this Chinese New Year initiative is being carried out in cooperation with Borneo Fresh Pork Sdn. Bhd.
He said: “This distribution is targeted at voters aged 60 and above in the Pelawan constituency. The aim is to alleviate the financial burden of their families and to let seniors feel the joy of the festive season.”
“Voucher collection begins today (February 5) from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm. Eligible individuals can bring their identification cards to Tiong Ming Chhiet’s Service Centre (Address: No. 20, Lane 2F, Sungai Merah, Sibu) to collect the vouchers, or call 012-760 9822 for inquiries. Vouchers will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis and are limited in quantity.” He made this statement in a press release yesterday (February 4).
Tiong Ming Chhiet added that each eligible person is entitled to only one 1kg minced pork voucher, and each agent can collect a maximum of two vouchers on behalf of others.
The minced pork redemption activity will be held on Saturday (February 7) from 7:30 am to 10:00 am at Borneo Fresh Pork Sdn. Bhd. (Rejang Park). Recipients must present the voucher at the specified time to redeem the minced pork.
