Dusong Chimba Garu Buddhist Association Ullambana Transcendence Puja Invites Devotees

(Miri, 1st) The Miri Dusong Chimba Garu Buddhist Association has scheduled its annual “Ullambana Zhongyuan Festival Transcendence and Blessing Grand Dharma Assembly” from September 4th to 6th (for three consecutive days, coinciding with the 15th day of the seventh lunar month). The event will take place at the Association’s Buddha Hall, located at the Juba 10th Mile Market, and all Buddhist friends and devotees from various communities are welcome to register enthusiastically.
The Buddhist Association will respectfully invite the venerable Nedo Rinpoche from Nepal, Master Mukhya Vajra Guru, and four Lama monks to preside over this auspicious transcendence and blessing grand dharma assembly. A mandala altar will be set up at the Buddha hall, along with name plaques for the deceased, to conduct dharma propagation, sutra recitation, blessing, transcendence rituals, and disaster dispelling for all sentient beings.
Event items include the transcendence of ancestors, creditors, aborted children (infant spirits), blessing seats, and lamp lighting. Devotees may choose different items according to their donation amount.
The transcendence project items are listed as follows:
Single transcendence: Transcendence for the deceased, ancestors from previous generations, karmic creditors from past lives, all sentient beings of the ten directions and realms, and infant spirits. Each transcendence item has a donation amount of 20 ringgit and 50 ringgit.
Package at 150 ringgit: Includes personal blessing, personal lamp of light, three deceased persons, ancestors from previous generations, karmic creditors from past lives, infant spirits, and all sentient beings of the ten directions.
Merit item at 500 ringgit: (Full set of transcendence lotus seat) Includes personal blessing, personal lamp of light, transcendence lotus seat (for three deceased), ancestors from previous generations, karmic creditors from past lives, infant spirits, and all sentient beings of the ten directions. Comes with a complimentary "Khata" scarf.
Blessing project: Blessing seats/Business name/Family disaster elimination and blessing, each for a donation amount of 50 ringgit. Personal disaster elimination and blessing, donation amount 20 ringgit.
Lamp lighting project: Business light lamp, donation amount 50 ringgit; family light lamp 30 ringgit; personal light lamp 10 ringgit.
In addition, to coincide with the arrival of the Rinpoche and masters, a "Dragon King Wealth God Prosperity Bag Offering" puja will be held at 8pm on September 12 at the Buddha Hall, and a sea ritual will be held at 9am on September 13 (Dragon Day) at the Miri river mouth.
Donation amounts for the Dragon King Wealth God Prosperity Bag are 100 ringgit (blue, purple) and 150 ringgit (yellow, red). All business owners, philanthropists, Buddhist friends and devotees are welcome to register and reserve.
