Qiaonan School Enterprise Day: Students Showcase Entrepreneurial Spirit

(Miri, 1st) Miri Qiaonan School successfully held its annual Enterprise Day event on August 31st, drawing crowds to the campus and creating a vibrant and lively atmosphere.
On Enterprise Day, a variety of student booths showcased unique creativity and exquisite craftsmanship, from homemade delicacies to creative handicrafts, all reflecting the students’ wisdom and enthusiasm. Parents and community members also actively participated, providing strong support to the students through their purchases and encouragement.
Principal Xu Linying, in her speech, expressed gratitude to all sponsors, parents, teachers, students, and people from all walks of life for their strong support, especially the school board for their tremendous contribution to ensuring the smooth running of the event.
She said that the aim of Enterprise Day was to cultivate students’ entrepreneurial spirit and teamwork skills. By encouraging students to personally participate in product conceptualization, production, sales and management, the event provided them with a valuable hands-on platform to experience various aspects of business operations.

Principal Xu stated that this is not merely a fundraising event, but also an educational practice dedicated to cultivating future business leaders and innovative talents.
She further emphasized that the success of Enterprise Day could not have been achieved without the contribution of every participant. She made special mention of the generous support from sponsors such as Hua Zhen Soy Sauce Factory (Miri) Sdn. Bhd., Huang Shan He Trading Sdn. Bhd., SugarBun Wisma Pelita, Re Bang Bang, Hometown Chicken Rice, West Malaysia Flavors Cuisine, Kin's Cafe, Chan Handicraft & Souvenir House, Golden City, Kai Yuan Nursery, Zon Megamaju Sdn. She also expressed gratitude to the school board members for their full assistance, recognizing their support as a solid foundation for the successful execution of all school activities.
She noted that the funds raised from Enterprise Day will be used to improve the school’s teaching facilities, enhance educational quality, and subsidize student participation in a variety of extracurricular activities, broadening the benefits to more students. The school will continue to strengthen its close cooperation with the board, parents, and the community to create an even better learning and growth environment for students.
