Namewee, who has been implicated in the Taiwanese female internet celebrity murder case, requested and was arranged to go to a hospital for a health check before being released on bail.
According to reporters at the scene, at around 2:11 pm that afternoon, his representing lawyer, Cheng Qingfeng, arrived at the Jinma District Police Headquarters to prepare for his bail procedures.
A police van, suspected to be carrying Namewee, later stopped on the road outside the police station’s main hall, after which one person got out and entered the station.
Cheng Qingfeng also confirmed that Namewee had gone to the hospital for a health check.
According to information, Namewee went to Kuala Lumpur General Hospital at midday under police escort for the examination.
Earlier, a large group of media had arrived outside the Jinma District Police Headquarters building early in the morning to cover the latest updates.
