Gaza Fund Extends Fundraising Period by 6 Months, Public Can Continue Donations to Alleviate Palestinian Suffering

(Bandar Seri Begawan, 18th) The Secretariat of the National Committee for the 2023 Gaza Palestinian Humanitarian Fund announced in a statement that, with the approval of His Majesty the Sultan of Brunei, the fundraising period for the 2023 Gaza Palestinian Humanitarian Fund will be extended by 6 months, from October 19, 2025, to April 18, 2026, allowing the public to continue donating in order to alleviate the suffering and burden of the Palestinian people in Gaza.

This extension includes the fund’s donation platforms, such as donations via SMS "Brunei Prihatin" handled by Datastream Digital Sdn Bhd (DST Sdn Bhd), Progresif Sdn Bhd, and Imagine Sdn Bhd; collaboration with the Bankers Association to set up donation boxes at mosques, prayer rooms, religious venues, public buildings, as well as commercial and bank buildings throughout the country; and organizing charity events to raise funds.

The authorities announced that, as of October 15, 2025, a total of BND 6,755,890.28 had been raised for the fund. Of this, a total of BND 1,039,945.00 has been used to provide humanitarian aid to Palestine in the form of ready-to-eat food packages, which were delivered by airdrop from March 13 to 15, 2024.

Therefore, as of October 15, 2025, the fund's balance stood at BND 5,356,345.28.
