(Bandar Seri Begawan, 30th) The Public Service Department under the Prime Minister's Office, in collaboration with Brunei's largest charitable fitness group Super Slim Fit, recently successfully held a fitness and health awareness event.
The Public Service Department regularly organizes such activities with the aim of encouraging employees to adopt a healthy lifestyle, balance work and life, and improve overall health levels.
Super Slim Fit principal Tan Swee Seng, head of Brunei's largest charitable fitness group, stated that this event aims to promote physical and mental well-being, enhance positive emotions, and alleviate mental health issues such as anxiety and depression. Happiness is the best medicine. Therefore, their classes are always filled with laughter and joy.
Principal Tan Swee Seng also mentioned that they measured blood pressure for all members and shared health knowledge during the class. Regular exercise, healthy eating, and positive mental well-being are key.
The group offers a range of exercise programs for both the general public and people with special needs. Besides fitness classes, the group also provides free chiropractic, physiotherapy, and stretching therapy to the public every week at Berakas National Stadium.
Principal Tan Swee Seng emphasized that stretching exercises are very effective as they promote blood circulation/nerve system, boost metabolism, and improve body posture. He encourages the public to do more stretching exercises in their daily lives.
Principal Tan Swee Seng stressed that all courses and therapies are completely free and are held weekly at Berakas National Stadium. The public is welcome to participate.
Principal Tan Swee Seng further stated that they offer free courses for government agencies, associations, and private organizations to raise health awareness. Therefore, governments, associations, and private entities can apply to them for free courses and follow their Instagram superslim_fit.bn or WhatsApp 8923488, or contact them at Berakas National Stadium.
