The popular Korean audition program "KPOP STAR6" launched countless new stars, and among them was a mixed-race little girl “Han Star” who stunned everyone at just 11 years old with her performance of the song "Me Too." She later signed with "YG Entertainment" and was once considered a hopeful to join "BABYMONSTER." However, recently her death was rumored, with Korean forums spreading news that she passed away as a trainee in 2024 at the age of 19.

Han Star participated in "KPOP STAR6" in 2016 when she was only 11 years old, yet she exuded confidence and her vocals were as strong as any adult’s. Cute and sweet in appearance, she signed with YG as a trainee after the show aired. However, YG signed many people at the time and she was consistently sidelined, ultimately leaving the company in 2020.

After leaving YG, Han Star made a comeback at 15, participating in "CAP-TEEN" under her real name "Kim Han Star" in November 2020, but was unable to achieve any notable results. Since then, she rarely appeared in the spotlight, though over the years, fans would still revisit her old videos. Unexpectedly, in late April, rumor of her passing circulated on Korean forums. According to netizens' comments, Han Star ended her own life in 2024, and her family handled the funeral quietly. As comments saying "R.I.P" appeared under her videos, the news of her passing was once again brought to light recently. However, since Han Star had been out of the entertainment circle for a long time and had no agency, the news of her death has not been confirmed to this day.
