Heavenly King Jay Chou’s (Jay Chou) wife, Kun Ling, spent 50 million TWD (approximately 6.84 million MYR) six years ago to purchase the 12th floor of a well-known residential building in Neihu, Taipei City, originally intended for her mother to stay when she moved north. However, entertainment industry friends, the brothers Qiu Shengyi (Prince) and Qiu Yuchen (Mao Di), ended up renting it for four years.
It is understood that Kun Ling, being the illustrious wife of a heavenly king, generously did not charge any rent. Prince and Mao Di only needed to cover the monthly water, electricity, and management fees, effectively allowing Kun Ling to let her friends stay in her luxury home for free. According to private statements from real estate agents, if calculated by the area's monthly rent of 180,000 TWD (about 24,000 MYR), Kun Ling has saved Prince and Mao Di a total of 8.64 million TWD (approximately 1.18 million MYR) in rent over four years.
As for Prince, who has an 18-year career with outstanding achievements in the entertainment industry, why hasn't he bought his own property? It is understood that in private, Prince has been helping his businessman father repay debts, having already contributed over tens of millions of TWD over the past decade.
