Lin Chi-ling Provides Immediate Aid for Tibet Earthquake; Hundreds of Artists' Donations and Supplies Arrive

 On the morning of the 7th, a 6.8 magnitude earthquake struck Dingri County, Shigatse City, Tibet, China. As of 7 PM that night, it had resulted in 126 deaths and 188 injuries, with 3,609 homes collapsed. Many celebrities provided disaster relief through Huang Xiaoming's Love Tomorrow Charity Foundation and Han Hong's Love Charity Foundation. Lin Chi-ling responded immediately, joining Huang Xiaoming, Xiao Zhan, Zhu Yilong, and 28 other artists to support 5 rescue teams and donate supplies, including 7.5 tons of tsampa, 4,000 electric blankets, 57,600 bottles of drinking water, 24,000 instant noodle bowls, 300 tents, and 500 quilts.

Born in Tibet, Han Hong has already led a team of medical experts and volunteers to the area for emergency medical assistance and distribution of supplies. Richie Jen, Guangliang, Wang Yibo, Dilireba, and 28 other artists have donated a total of 5.74 million RMB (about 3.52 million MYR) through her foundation; the funds will be used to provide the disaster-stricken people with warm supplies and support post-disaster reconstruction work.

In addition, the foundation will activate emergency reserves and, with the support of Han Hong’s monthly donors and numerous philanthropic companies and individuals, plans to allocate 20 million RMB (about 12.27 million MYR) for earthquake relief efforts.

Rumors of marital strife between Wu Qilong and Liu Shishi have resurfaced recently.
