(Miri, 28th) Miri Hopo Clan Association President Cai Chuanchuang stated that the 13 Clan Cuisine Sharing Exchange is an important annual event, with participation rotated among the various clans each year. Each unit carefully prepares one or two representative hometown dishes, showcasing their own food culture and characteristics, while providing everyone with an opportunity to interact through food and strengthen bonds.
He pointed out that time flies and the year is about to end—Christmas has just passed, and the new year is approaching. This event symbolizes bidding farewell to 2025 and welcoming a brand new 2026.

Cai Chuanchuang also shared that from November 17th to 24th, he led 63 members of the association to visit their ancestral roots in Jiexi, China for exploration and exchange, visiting Meizhou, Fengshun, Heyuan and other locations, and gained an in-depth understanding of Hakka culture and local customs.
He pointed out that even though they are all Hakka, traditional dishes such as stuffed tofu may look similar, but due to different cooking methods, each has its own unique flavor.
He said that the Hakka delicacies tasted in the ancestral home were once again presented at the exchange event, allowing participants to savor the foods and experience the culinary culture of different Hakka clans and regions at the same time.
He hopes everyone cherishes this rare opportunity to gather, enjoy the dishes carefully prepared by each clan, and wishes for the event's complete success.
