The US military stated on the 2nd that during the first 48 hours of the war against Iran, it struck over 1,250 targets, with more than 1,000 targets hit on the first day of the conflict. The number of US soldiers killed in action has increased from 4 to 6.
According to AFP, based on the fact sheet released by US Central Command, which is responsible for US military affairs in the region, the targets struck included command and control centers, ballistic missile facilities, Iranian naval ships and submarines, as well as anti-ship missile facilities.
"As of 4 p.m. EST on March 2 (5 a.m. March 3 Malaysian time), a total of six US military personnel have been killed in action."
The Israeli military stated on the 2nd that as it continues to attack Iran, it has struck multiple Iranian intelligence offices and other command centers.
