(Kuching, 23rd) In the festive spirit of Christmas, Sarawak DAP Chairman and State Assemblyman Chong Chieng Jen, together with his special assistant and Chairman of Sarawak Commercial Vehicle Registration Board, Kong Fong Nian, recently hosted a meal for the residents of Kampung Stutong at a restaurant, to celebrate the upcoming Christmas together in advance.
During the gathering, Chong Chieng Jen extended his sincere festive greetings to the residents and expressed his gratitude for the long-term support and trust that everyone has shown to DAP and his service team.
He also took the opportunity to engage in in-depth discussions with the residents, listening to their views on community affairs and jointly exploring ways to continue close cooperation in the future, such as organizing more meaningful community activities, caring for the underprivileged, promoting neighborhood harmony, and improving the living environment, with practical actions to elevate the local people's living standards and overall well-being, so that the fruits of development are truly shared by all.

He stated that he himself would continue to work hand in hand with the residents, jointly pushing for the ongoing development of the local area and improvement of people's living conditions.
Chong Chieng Jen is also actively arranging for residents of Kampung Stutong to form a group to visit Putrajaya soon and pay a courtesy call on Mordi, the DAP MP for Mas Gading who was recently appointed as Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports.
He pointed out that Mordi is the first Dayak leader from Sarawak DAP to be appointed as a federal deputy minister, which is highly significant and also reflects DAP’s spirit of diversity and inclusiveness.
The dinner ended on a warm note with blessings. Chong Chieng Jen, together with everyone present, also sang Christmas carols and wished all a Merry Christmas.
