Chiew Choon Man Visits Miri Hospital Blood Bank, Urges Public to Donate Blood Enthusiastically

(Miri, 25th) Miri MP Chiew Choon Man visited Miri Hospital Blood Bank Center to understand the operations of blood donation activities and listen to related needs.

He stated that with the upcoming festive holidays, the demand for blood at the blood bank is increasingly rising. He therefore calls for more citizens to donate blood enthusiastically, ensuring a sufficient supply to help patients in need.

During the visit, Chiew Choon Man interacted with representatives of the blood bank center and learned about some challenges they face in operations, including the hope to provide packaged drinks and light snacks to donors to help them replenish their energy.

Additionally, the blood bank has requested to upgrade some essential equipment, such as blood pressure monitors and special carrying bags to facilitate medical teams during blood donation activities outside the hospital.

Regarding these needs, Chiew Choon Man expressed that he will continue to pay attention and support the operation of Miri Hospital Blood Bank Center, ensuring that blood donation activities can proceed smoothly.

He also especially urged Miri citizens to actively respond to the blood donation movement, emphasizing that "every drop of donated blood is a vital force in saving lives."
