Iranian government spokesperson Mohajerani stated that the issue of war reparations is one of the topics in negotiations between Iran and the United States as well as in related consultations held in Islamabad. Preliminary estimates show that Iran's losses have reached $270 billion (about 1.07 trillion ringgit).
He said that current preliminary and relatively rough estimates indicate that the scale of relevant losses has reached $270 billion. The Iranian government's economic sector will carry out a multi-phase assessment process to calculate the exact figure for these losses.
He pointed out that the assessment work will first focus on the damage to buildings, followed by analyzing loss of fiscal revenue and the impact caused by industrial shutdowns.
