Ukrainian President Zelensky stated on the 29th that the situation on Ukraine's front lines is generally normal and under control, but the fighting in the Pokrovsk area of Donetsk region in the east is the most severe.
He told the media that Russian troops massed in the area have reached 100,000, preparing for an offensive.
He noted that Russian forces continue attacks on the Kharkiv and Donetsk regions, but the fighting has not gone well. Ukrainian troops have successfully conducted search operations near Kupyansk, discovering 30 enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups.
He said the situation in the Zaporizhzhia region remains stable, but the situation is very dangerous, as Russian troops are assembling landing forces, and the numbers are quite large.
In the Sumy region, Ukrainian defenders are repelling enemy forces, and the situation in the Dnipropetrovsk region is now under control.
