(Miri, 26th) The North Sarawak Liuguidang Clan Association will hold its 2026 Members’ General Meeting and the Academic Excellence Award Ceremony for members’ children on March 29 (Sunday) at 10am, at Level 3, Clubhouse, LOT 2070, Marina City Business Shops.
This event aims to recognize the outstanding academic achievements of members’ children and invites all clan members to actively attend the general meeting. A lunch will also be specially prepared on the day to thank members for their support and participation.
In addition, those who wish to submit proposals at the general meeting must do so by 12:00 noon on March 20 (Friday). Late submissions will not be accepted.
Members’ children who meet the following scholarship application requirements may submit a photocopy of their certificate or academic transcript from now until 12:00 noon on March 20 (Friday). Incomplete information or late submissions will not be accepted.

Application Guidelines for 2026 Members’ Children Scholarship (Based on 2025 Academic Results) are as follows:
1. Kindergarten: Those who achieved 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place, with an overall average of 90% or above (excluding preparatory classes).
2. Primary School Group:
Grades 1-3: At least grade 4 in Chinese, Malay, English, Mathematics, and Science, with at least one subject achieving grade 3.
Grades 4-6: All subjects A or 2B (Chinese, Malay, English, Mathematics, and Science are the main subjects).
3. All streams of secondary/junior high: Scores in Chinese, Malay, English, Mathematics, and Science must be at least 60 (pass) or a semester grade average of 65.
4. 2025 SPM (Malaysian Certificate of Education): Achieve at least 6As (Malay language must be passed).
5. 2025 STPM (Malaysian Higher School Certificate): Grades of A, B, C, or D.
6. Independent Chinese School Unified Examination (2025):
Junior high: Pass all subjects, with 5 subjects at distinction level;
Senior high: Pass all subjects, with 4 subjects at distinction level.
7. University Group: Those who graduate from domestic or overseas universities in 2025, including bachelor’s degree certificates, master’s, and doctorate degrees.
All applicants must attach a copy of their academic transcript, certified and signed by the school; otherwise, it will be voided. Verbal or telephone applications will not be accepted. Awardees must be present in person to receive the award on the day, otherwise, it will be considered as forfeited (except for those from Brunei, Marudi, Limbang, or already furthering studies abroad). The copy of the results must specify the parent’s and student’s Chinese and English names, phone number, and school name.
