Jude Owens, a boy from Manchester, UK, who is only two years old, has successfully challenged and broken two Guinness World Records, becoming the youngest trick shot record holder in English snooker.
According to Sing Tao Daily, on October 12 last year, when he was just 2 years and 302 days old, Jude Owens from Manchester precisely completed a difficult 'cushion shot' on a standard snooker table, that is, potting a ball by bouncing it off the cushion. Five weeks prior to this, he also successfully completed a 'double pot', potting two balls at once with a single stroke.
Jude Owens has not only become the youngest player in history to complete both types of trick shots, but also one of the youngest double Guinness World Record holders in history.
At the 2025 UK Championship, Jude Owens will have a special introductory ceremony, and is considered to be the youngest known sponsored player in the history of the sport.
