On the 27th, Alibaba released its first self-developed Quark AI glasses powered by the Qwen large language model, directly challenging the global AI wearable device market spearheaded by Meta. The Quark AI glasses are priced starting at 1,899 RMB (1,108 MYR).
The Quark AI glasses feature a black plastic frame, with a design that looks no different from ordinary glasses. The glasses come pre-installed with Alibaba's latest Qwen AI assistant, enabling more intelligent and convenient product interaction.
The Quark AI glasses are priced at 1,899 RMB and are deeply integrated with key core services in the Alibaba ecosystem, including Alipay, Amap, Taobao, Fliggy, and Alibaba Business Travel.
Alibaba's Qwen began public testing on the 17th, and within just one week, downloads have surpassed 10 million.
The "Quark AI Glasses" are available in two models, S1 and G1, for a total of six different products. The S1 series offers various frame shapes and colors, with the lowest price at 3,799 RMB (2,216 MYR); the G1, besides offering two frame shapes, also provides a sunglasses version, with a starting price of 1,899 RMB. All six models of AI glasses are equipped with Alibaba's latest Qwen AI assistant.
The Quark AI Glasses S1 features dual flagship chips and adopts a dual optical engine and binocular display solution. With brightness up to 4,000 nits, interactive information from Qwen can be clearly displayed even in strong outdoor lighting conditions, allowing for a better experience in scenarios that frequently require navigation, translation, and more.
