(Bandar Seri Begawan, 29th) The Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Brunei, Sohn Namkook, recently hosted a ladies’ Korean cooking class at his official residence.
This event taught two popular Korean dishes: Mul-kimchi (a type of kimchi made by fermenting fresh vegetables in lightly seasoned brine) and Pine Nut Sauce Shrimp (shrimp cooked with a rich pine nut sauce).
The event began with a welcoming speech by Ambassador Sohn Namkook, followed by group photos, and then Chef Park Keonwook personally led the cooking session.
Participants included spouses and family members of local business leaders, as well as company directors and executives. They not only enjoyed this cultural experience but also took the dishes they made home with them.
This event provided a warm and enjoyable platform for sharing Korean food culture and fostering friendship through cuisine.
