(Bandar Seri Begawan, 29th) The 43rd Committee (2024-2026) of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce, Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei will soon end its term. At the 29th regular monthly directors meeting on June 16, 2026, the association resolved to appoint five directors to form the 44th Election Committee, with Lim Han Chong as chairman and members including Ng Kok Leong, Lim Teng Chye, Law Ban Yi, and Lim Teng Yuan, who will be responsible for handling the 44th committee's election matters.
The Election Committee recently held its first meeting at the chamber’s Datuk Ong Kim Kee Conference Hall to discuss issues related to the 44th committee election and decided to initiate the updating of corporate members' information to ensure data completeness and smooth election procedures.
The Election Committee calls on all corporate members to cooperate in updating their membership records, including company representatives, company address, contact phone number, email address, and other related information. If there are changes to company representatives or relevant information, please notify the chamber in writing by July 31, 2026, and provide relevant supporting documents. If the information remains unchanged, please also confirm in writing for verification and record updates.
The Election Committee stated that complete and accurate member information will not only ensure timely delivery of election notifications and related documents, but also serve as a basis for verifying membership qualification and representative details, thus ensuring the smooth running of the 44th committee election.
