(Bandar Seri Begawan, 14th) The Brunei Chung Cheng Hakka Association carried out its annual senior care activity yesterday by visiting several elderly senior members. The delegation personally visited them at home to greet them, express concern and give their best wishes, hoping the members enjoy good health and well-being.
This year’s activity was led by President Law Suet Sian, accompanied by the First Vice President Lee Kwee Chiang, Second Vice President Lau Chee Sin, Chinese Secretary Lee Rong Hua, English/Malay Secretary Yeo Ching Ni, and General Affairs Officer Teng Kin Sin.
The visit included honorary advisors Leong Seng Chye, Lai Yun Kwang, and Chow Yew Lan, as well as members Teng Shao Liang, Yang Sai Pau, and Lau Yuk Yong. The committee members visited each elder’s home in turn, learning about their living conditions and health status, creating a warm and harmonious atmosphere.
The association stated that such senior-care and condolence activities are one of its annual regular programs and will continue to promote similar visits in the future, in order to uphold the spirit of respecting and caring for the elderly, and to strengthen the connections and care between members.
