The hardest-hit Kerr County reported at least 68 deaths, while the death toll in another four counties has risen to 12.

Texas Governor Abbott stated at a press conference that afternoon that at least 41 people are still missing in the flood-stricken areas of Texas. He said more "heavy rain" is expected in the coming days, and some parts of Texas remain under flood threat.
