American pop superstar Taylor Swift has added another milestone to her career. The Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame announced on the 12th that Taylor Swift will be officially inducted at the ceremony to be held this fall. At 36 years old, she also becomes the youngest songwriter ever inducted into the Hall's history.
Mark Ford, Executive Director of the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame, announced this year’s inductees and specifically read out Taylor Swift's pre-recorded remarks. She said that since she started writing songs as a child, she has always regarded Nashville as a land of dreams, hoping to learn from the best songwriters and to become part of this city full of storytellers.
This is also Taylor Swift's second major hall of fame induction this year. In June, she was selected to enter the Songwriters Hall of Fame in New York, becoming the youngest woman ever inducted. Receiving recognition from the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame only a few months later further cements her vital status in the world of pop music songwriting.
