(Miri, 12th) The Tanjung Manis Maritime Enforcement Agency recently conducted a maritime rescue operation to assist an injured crew member in receiving medical attention.
The agency's director, Gilbert Tinggak anak Numpang, stated that the agency assisted the local fishing vessel's crew after receiving a notification from Kuching.
It is reported that the 37-year-old crew member,Safri bin Sakawi, accidentally injured his right foot while fishing, causing it to bleed. Upon arriving at the dock, the injured person was sent to Tanjung Manis Clinic for treatment.
