The major earthquake disaster in Venezuela has drawn widespread international concern, and several countries including China have expressed their willingness to provide help to Venezuela.
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun said at a regular press conference on the 25th that China is willing to provide assistance to the best of its ability in an appropriate manner, based on Venezuela’s needs.
The United States stated the same day that it would deploy two warships, transport planes, and helicopters, and allocate $150 million (about 617 million ringgit) in aid materials to assist Venezuela in the aftermath of the earthquake.
Brazilian President Lula announced that the Brazilian government has decided to send a professional rescue team to assist with post-earthquake relief, and will deliver equipment for setting up field hospitals, 100 solar-powered water purifiers, and medical supplies to the affected areas in Venezuela.
The Swiss Ministry of Foreign Affairs also issued a statement saying that Switzerland will dispatch a professional rescue team and provide 18 tons of relief supplies.
Salvadoran President Bukele announced that 300 Salvadoran rescue workers and medical personnel, along with 50 tons of equipment and urgently needed materials, are "ready to deploy."
