(Miri, 28th) The Women’s Section of the Miri Taipu Association recently visited the Miri Special Needs Children’s Center for an act of love, not only donating funds but also handing over daily necessities required by the center, showing their care for the special needs children and supporting the center's operations through practical actions.
This visit was led by Women's Section Chief Kapitan Chan Cai Ping, accompanied by a group of section committee members, and was warmly received by the center’s representatives. Members of the women's section interacted and communicated with the center’s students and staff, gaining a deeper understanding of the learning and living conditions of special needs children.
During the visit, the center introduced to the women’s section its current teaching environment, daily operations, and future needs, enabling everyone to better understand the dedication of special education workers and the challenges faced by special needs children.
Kapitan Chan Cai Ping stated that the Women’s Section hopes that through this visit, they can send care and warmth to special needs children while raising public awareness of the importance of education and welfare for such children.
She said that although the donation is limited, she hopes it can help ease some of the center’s burdens, allowing the children to learn and grow in a better environment.
She also expressed gratitude to the teachers at the center for their long-term patience and dedication, taking attentive care of and educating the special needs children, which is truly admirable.
