(Miri, 28th) — The Bekenu Village Development and Security Committee will be teaming up with Miri City Women’s Aid Association to host a “Family Day” event on June 1st (Sunday) at 9:00 AM, at the Da Pu Kindergarten Hall. The public is warmly invited to bring their families and participate enthusiastically.
This year’s event is themed “Hand in Hand, Let’s Walk Happily Together,” aiming to foster interaction and emotional bonding among family members, create a warm and harmonious community atmosphere, and advocate for healthy, positive family values.
The event will feature a rich array of activities, including parent-child interactive games, lucky draw gifts, and complimentary buffet meals. Through these relaxed and enjoyable activities, the organizers hope to deepen parent-child bonds and strengthen neighborly ties.
The organizers also hope that through this Family Day, parents will be encouraged to spend more time with their children, create fond memories together, and enhance communication and unity among community residents.
All registered members’ children and committee members’ children are urged to attend punctually to ensure the event runs smoothly. Both organizations have set up a preparation committee led by Chen Lina to spearhead and coordinate all preparation efforts.
