The second largest city in the United States, Los Angeles, has been experiencing turmoil for several days as citizens gather to protest President Trump's crackdown on illegal immigration. Similar demonstrations have erupted in San Francisco, a city in Northern California.

The San Francisco police indicated that on the night of the 8th local time, there were violent incidents during a protest against the Trump administration's raids on illegal immigrants in San Francisco. Police arrested over 150 people and confiscated a gun. Two officers were injured during the enforcement process.

According to the police, hundreds of people protested outside the Immigration and Customs Enforcement office in the Sansome and Washington districts of San Francisco. During the event, violent behavior occurred, including assaults on people and malicious property damage. The protest was declared an illegal assembly by the police.

The police stated that although most people have left, some individuals continued to engage in illegal activities. Two officers sustained non-life-threatening injuries, with one being taken to the hospital for treatment.

The police noted that the remaining protesters on site moved to other districts, vandalizing buildings and a police patrol car along the way. A small group of protesters refused to leave after reaching the Montgomery district. The police issued a dispersal order to those present and arrested those who did not comply.

The police said they arrested 154 people, including 6 teenagers, one of whom was charged with a felony for assaulting an officer. Most of those arrested have been released.
