The Russian Defense Ministry said that the Russian military also targeted several sites belonging to the Ukrainian military and defense industry enterprises using high-precision long-range air-based weapons, among others.
Russian media, citing sources, reported that during the strike on the Ukrainian military airport in Rivne Oblast, the Russian military destroyed several Ukrainian aircraft and missile warehouses.
Kyiv Faces "Large-scale" Drone Attack
Additionally, the Mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Klitschko, stated on social media early on the 10th that Kyiv was subjected to a large-scale drone attack by Russia.
He said, "Stay in shelters! A large-scale drone attack on the capital is ongoing."
He noted that some buildings and cars in Kyiv caught fire during the attack. One person was injured, and medical personnel are currently on the scene providing treatment.
Apart from Kyiv, Odesa also faced drone attacks by Russia.
On the other hand, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated on the 9th that in the early hours of the day, Ukrainian special operations forces launched an attack on the Savelyevka military airport in the Russian Nizhny Novgorod Oblast.
