JJ Lin (JJ) recently made a surprise appearance as a guest at Jolin Tsai (Jolin)'s concert. About half a month later, at the end of June, he uploaded some behind-the-scenes moments from that day on social media, even recalling how Jolin played matchmaker and relayed a message to Hebe Tien (Hebe) when she was his guest performer 13 years ago.
When JJ held a concert in 2013, he had invited Jolin as a special guest. Unexpectedly, Jolin went off-script and called out Hebe, who was sitting in the audience. She revealed that JJ once saw Hebe sitting at the next table at an event and said, “The greatest distance is just the next table over.” At that concert, JJ was so embarrassed that he wanted to run off stage, while Hebe was so shy she covered her face and giggled. To top it all off, before Jolin left the stage, she directly asked Hebe, “Are you willing to accept his friendship request?” This caused the atmosphere to reach a climax!
Thirteen years later, this time JJ served as the guest at Jolin’s concert, and backstage, they chatted about those memories. “That time, you really killed me on stage! What you said on stage last time made me so embarrassed, I was so worried about what you might say this time, so I kept asking if you planned to say anything.” When Jolin admitted she wasn’t sure what she’d talk about once on stage, JJ laughed and replied, “Just kidding, it’s fine! Whatever you want to say is OK.” After seeing JJ revisit that old memory, Jolin humorously replied in the comment section: “You can keep chatting with me, no problem!”#
