Louis Koo Transformed into 'Hong Kong Captain' to Support Raymond Lam, Duet of 'A Step into the Past' Theme Song Raises the Climax

Raymond Lam held a series of 7 concerts titled 'Go With The Flow' at the Hong Kong Coliseum, with the final show last night (28th), featuring Louis Koo as the guest. Louis appeared in a futuristic warrior outfit, resembling a Hong Kong version of 'Captain America'. He ascended from beneath the stage on a lift platform, striking a one-knee pose. The two performed the theme song 'Destined to Reign' from the 2001 TVB drama 'A Step into the Past', which was originally sung by Louis Koo, sparking a wave of nostalgia. The entire audience stood up, cheering loudly. Louis danced lightly as he sang, though his moves were slightly stiff. The duo then sang 'In Trend' together. Louis made his signature gesture, and Raymond excitedly exclaimed, 'I did it! Thank you, boss!'

After their performance, Koo and Raymond shook hands and hugged. They had collaborated in the movie adaptation of 'A Step into the Past', where Raymond played Ying Zheng and Koo was Xiang Shaolong. Koo, in character as Xiang Shaolong, knelt before Raymond and said, 'Your Majesty, I'm late! Because I accidentally time-traveled to 2015.' He then teased Raymond about his changed appearance and hair color. Raymond jokingly replied, 'I had to keep up with the trends and integrate into society, so I changed my name from Ying Zheng to Raymond Lam.'

Koo teased back, 'Luckily it's not something like Lam Bing (sounding like 'venereal disease' in Cantonese).' Raymond mentioned that many people have been asking when the urban legend about Xiang Shaolong will return to the big screen. Koo finally hinted, 'The legend will break on New Year's Day.' Raymond excitedly urged everyone to support them in the cinemas.
