(Bandar Seri Begawan, 6th) In support of raising public awareness of cancer, the Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien Bridge and the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha Bridge will be lit up from 7:00 p.m. on February 8th until 5:00 a.m. the following morning. This lighting event, jointly organized by the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Development, aims to coincide with the 2026 World Cancer Day.
World Cancer Day is observed on February 4th each year as a global initiative to raise public awareness about cancer, provide support to cancer patients, and encourage prevention and early detection.
During the event, the two bridges will feature blue and orange lighting to resonate with the theme of the 2026 World Cancer Day, sending a message to the public about the importance of cancer awareness and prevention.
