(Miri, 19th) The Sarawak Miri Division Chinese Associations Federation Women’s Section recently held an exchange meeting with the Chen Clan Association’s Women’s Section at their venue.
During the meeting, Miri Division Huazong Women’s Section Director, Li Rui Xiang, stated that interaction with various clan women's sections is not only a way to enhance clan relationships and strengthen connections, but also an important method to pass down the cultural heritage of our clans and to promote national spirit. We should cherish these valuable traditions passed down through generations, incorporate them into our lives, and carry them forward.
She said that the Huazong Women's Section has been established for 36 years. During this time, we have organized various Chinese traditional cultural activities to pass down and promote the culture of the Chinese nation. At the same time, we have also organized lectures, training camps, anniversary celebrations, and exchange meetings, and we award scholarships to needy students every year and conduct charitable welfare activities.
"Every event hosted by the Huazong Women's Section requires the support and care of the women's sections of various associations. We thank your women's section for their continuous attention and cooperation, and hope that more women will actively participate in social activities. Participation can broaden our horizons and enhance our relationships. Together, we can contribute our strength to society."
She pointed out that with a grateful heart, I am here to meet and exchange with sisters at the Chen Clan Association, sincerely thanking the Chen Clan Association's Women’s Section for their arrangements. Through the exchange meeting, we can better understand the long history, cultural roots, and developments of the Chen Clan, and continue the tradition of Chinese customs and culture.
