(Bandar Seri Begawan, 10th) Qasya Diagnostics Services Company recently held a blood donation event on the first floor of the Gadong Property Center, collecting a total of 67 pints of blood.
The event was conducted from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with the aim of responding to the call and supporting blood donors for the national blood reserve.
Additionally, it encouraged community participation in life-saving actions and raised awareness of the importance of regular blood donation.
The Ministry of Health called on the public to help replenish the blood supplies currently in short supply at donation centers and the national blood bank. Donors of all blood types are urgently needed.
Meanwhile, another blood donation campaign is scheduled for the 12th of this month (Saturday) at D’Sunlit Private Limited in the Beribi Industrial Area.
Furthermore, the public can go directly to the Blood Donation Center at the Central Hospital in Bandar Seri Begawan during working hours from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. to donate blood.
Authorities also encourage the public to use the Bloodkad application to book blood donation slots.
