(Miri, 18th) In the spirit of caring for society, Miri Dynasty Hotel today jointly organized with Miri Welfare Department the annual Hari Raya charitable donation event, benefiting a total of 150 families. The guest of honor was the Minister of Sarawak Women, Children, and Community Wellbeing, Dato’ Sri Fatimah Abdullah.
Hotel Managing Director Tony Pui stated that this charitable donation event has been held consecutively for 25 years, and the collaboration with the Miri Welfare Department has reached its 23rd year. Every year, this event covers the three major festivals of Sarawak: Hari Raya, Gawai Dayak, and Chinese New Year.
He disclosed that the donation event persists annually, and for this Hari Raya donation, a total of 150 families benefited. The list and an Angpow of RM 100 are managed by the Miri Welfare Department, while Dynasty Hotel provided gifts worth RM 150, including 10kg of rice and various foods, to ease the burden on disadvantaged families. Pei Qingzhan pointed out that as a compassionate company, Dynasty Hotel is dedicated to nurturing a spirit of care and commitment among its employees, delivering blessings and care to those in need in the Miri community through the annual donation event.
"We hope that such acts of kindness will allow the beneficiaries to feel the warmth and care from all sectors of society, jointly celebrating the festive season and sharing the joy."
He also specifically thanked the Miri Welfare Department for its strong support and cooperation, as well as the selfless dedication of all hotel staff, which allowed the event to be held smoothly and successfully.
