Chai Zhiping Comments on Ken Chu Being 'Too Impulsive', Says F4 Was Never a Group: Very Absurd

Ken Chu has recently made several controversial statements, directly clashing with HIM International Music and refusing to reunite with Jerry Yan, Vanness Wu, and Vic Chou. In response, the 'Mother of Idol Dramas' and the driving force behind F4 in 'Meteor Garden', Chai Zhiping, attended an event yesterday (the 17th) and commented that the notion of Ken Chu quitting F4 is very absurd.

When producer Chai Zhiping was asked about an F4 reunion and about Ken Chu's outspoken comments during his livestream, she admitted, "I think he is a bit impulsive." Since knowing Ken Chu in 2001, his personality hasn’t changed much, "he’s always been a not-very-worldly big boy."

However, she also spoke up for Ken Chu, stating that from the very beginning, F4 should not have been regarded as a “group”. "From the airing of Meteor Garden in 2001 to F4, it was never a group—it's four characters extended from Yoko Kamio’s Japanese manga." She said that seeing talk on Wikipedia about 'Ken Chu quitting the group' is very absurd.
