47-year-old actor Vanness Wu, divorced for seven years, has recently been rumored to have a new girlfriend. The two were seen traveling together and also attended a wedding, appearing very close. Reportedly, the woman has outstanding charisma and looks quite similar to actress Melody (Yin Yue).
According to Mirror Weekly, Wu was previously spotted traveling with his new flame, and most recently, the two appeared together at a friend’s wedding held in Surabaya, Indonesia, giving off the vibe of ‘wedding practice.’ Wu’s mother was also present, suggesting the relationship has already been introduced to his family and gained approval.
Wu married Singaporean palm oil heiress Arissa Cheo in 2013, but just a year after marriage, the couple began feuding online, with Arissa hinting that Wu had cheated. Rumors of their marital problems persisted for years, and they officially divorced in 2018. The split was reportedly acrimonious, with the man being accused of five wrongdoings: not returning home on special occasions, flirtatious behavior with other women, refusing to admit fault during arguments, making Arissa pay for her own plane tickets to support Wu’s work, and lying in front of the media.
