A dormitory building at a boarding school in East Java, Indonesia, collapsed on the night of the 29th, resulting in at least 3 student deaths.
The boarding school in question is located in Sidoarjo, East Java.

On the morning of the 30th, the school once posted a list of 65 missing students on the bulletin board, most of whom are boys aged between 12 and 17.

One of the boarding school principals, Abdus, said that after workers poured concrete for the third floor, the building collapsed.
He said: "This building has only three floors and was originally planned to have four. The upper floors were supposed to be used as classrooms and for student activities, while the ground floor was already used as a prayer room."
Local police stated that at the time of the incident, students were praying inside the building. The building had not been granted permission for expansion.
Rescue workers, police, and soldiers dug through rubble overnight, rescuing 8 survivors in more than 8 hours.
