Educators Advancement Camp Concludes, Brunei-Malaysia Education Cooperation Moves Forward

(Bandar Seri Begawan, 8th) Organized by the Education Malaysia Global Assistance Organization (EMGA), the “2025 Educators Advancement Camp” has successfully concluded, marking an important step forward in promoting international education cooperation.
The Brunei delegation visited Malaysia and participated in the “2025 Educators Advancement Camp” from November 30 to December 7, 2025. Officials from the Vocational Education Division of the Department of Schools (JSS), Ministry of Education of Brunei, as well as vocational education teachers from government secondary schools, colleges, and sixth form centers in Brunei, formed a delegation to visit 10 top educational institutions in Malaysia.

The delegation was led by Andre Asmara, Head of the Vocational Education Division of the Department of Schools, Ministry of Education, Brunei.
The Education Commissioner of the High Commission of Brunei in Malaysia, Nur Fazliana, also participated in this visit.
The delegation visited institutions including INTI International University & Colleges, Taylor's University, Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU), Universiti Tenaga Nasional Malaysia (UNITEN).
TAR UMT (Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology), Monash University Malaysia, Sunway University, Malaysia Blue Ribbon International College, HELP University, and Heriot-Watt University Malaysia.

The delegation participated in various activities and workshops organized by these institutions related to Artificial Intelligence (AI), social-emotional learning, emotional intelligence, and positive psychology.
EMGA hosted an appreciation dinner to celebrate the success of this exchange program. During the dinner, Rexpocentral & EMGA CEO Ahmad Rizal presented certificates of participation and souvenirs to members of the Brunei delegation in recognition of their successful completion of the scheduled visits and activities.
This visit was a complete success, fully reflecting EMGA's commitment to fostering strong educational cooperation between Malaysia and Brunei, and creating new opportunities for teacher professional development, student engagement, and joint educational innovation.
