(Miri, 16th) – The internal member and friends' pickleball friendly tournament, co-organized by Miri Lambir Lions Club, Luak Lions Club, Tanjong Batu Lions Club, and Lambir Junior Chamber International, was successfully held and concluded recently.
The tournament was conducted over two days, aiming to promote mutual acquaintance and understanding among members through the competition, enhance friendships, and exchange skills to progress together during competition.
The organizers stated that there was a noticeable improvement in participants' skills in this competition, fulfilling the purpose of making friends through sports. They hope to organize similar activities again in the second half of the year to continue fostering friendship and improving competitive standards.
The competition was held in the doubles category only. Wen Zixian and Yang Ziqiao performed outstandingly and succeeded in winning the championship. Xu Yuming and Cai Wanying took the runner-up; He Chuhua and Fang Xiaowei finished third; while Lin Xiaojian and Chen Jieying secured fourth place.
