(China, 27th) A male self-media blogger from Zhijin County, Guizhou Province, China, was kidnapped and assaulted by another Chinese blogger in Tanzania, Africa, in November, resulting in broken ribs and leg fractures. He has now returned to China for treatment. On Friday (26th), he revealed that the fellow countryman who attacked him has been arrested in Tanzania.

The male blogger, who goes by the online name "Zeng Shu Ji Guan Jia Po" (Zeng Fangu), said that, according to information from Mr. Ding, a Chinese living in Tanzania who helped with the case, the attacking blogger "Feizhou Yangyang" (Zhao Mouyang) has been apprehended. In an interview, Mr. Ding confirmed that the arrest operation was carried out in cooperation between his dispatched team and the Tanzanian police.

It is reported that Zhao Mouyang was arrested on the 25th and is currently being transferred to Dar es Salaam, the largest city in Tanzania.

Previously, Zeng Fangu stated that on November 20th, he accepted Zhao Mouyang's invitation to visit a tribe in Tanzania for filming. Afterward, he was beaten and detained by Zhao for up to a week. Facing Zhao Mouyang's demand to lure more fellow Chinese to Africa, Zeng refused, which led to even harsher treatment. He eventually escaped. With assistance from the Chinese Embassy in Tanzania, he has now returned to China and is recuperating in Anshun City, Guizhou.

Zhao Mouyang attempted to use Zeng Fangu's social media influence to publish false investment information to lure Chinese entrepreneurs to Tanzania and thereby obtain property. This suggestion was firmly rejected by Zeng. On the seventh day of captivity, Zhao Mouyang was driving Zeng Fangu to an unknown location when Zeng jumped out of the car window and called for help, resulting in his rescue.

Zhao Mouyang also tried to have Zeng Fangu apply for an online loan, which failed. He then forcibly took Zeng's mobile phone, passport, and other personal items, and transferred over 18,000 yuan out of Zeng’s bank account.
