Enthusiastic Support from All Walks of Life: Fundraising Boosts Crematorium Construction

(Seria, 5th) The Brunei Chinese Charity Association has recently received enthusiastic responses from caring individuals and associations both locally and abroad in its efforts to build a modern crematorium, receiving donations from well-wishers in Singapore and locally, demonstrating strong community support for public welfare.
Among them, well-wisher Hong Zhu from Singapore entrusted Ms. Wu Minna of Embrace Dancing Studio in the capital to deliver a donation of $200.
In the capital region, Chin Wei Kiat, through association committee member Lim Teng Chye, made a charitable donation of $100.
The association's committee member Sim Chiu Hiang collected multiple donations, including $200 each from Leong Teng Pong and Liu Ming Fong. In addition, there was a joint donation totaling $370 compiled by the following caring individuals: Lee Sze Fook & family $200, Yang Siu Hua & family $100, Yang Siu Mei & family $50, and Ms. Yang Siu Ying $20.
A spokesperson for the Brunei Chinese Charity Association said that the construction of the crematorium is crucial for the well-being of the community and thanked all donors for their generous contributions. The association pledges to make good use of every donation and will promptly publicize progress and financial details, remaining open to public oversight. Fundraising activities are still ongoing, and all sectors are welcome to continue supporting and participating in this charitable cause.
