The Dalian Maritime Safety Administration of China has issued a navigation warning: from 4 p.m. on the 16th to 4 p.m. on the 30th, military operations will be conducted in parts of the Bohai Strait and northern Yellow Sea, and entry is prohibited.
The Chinese People's Liberation Army will carry out military tasks for two weeks in designated areas of the Bohai Strait and Yellow Sea starting Sunday.
Earlier, the Dalian Maritime Safety Administration also issued a navigation warning banning entry to parts of the Bohai Sea from July 27 to August 13 daily between 6 a.m. and midnight due to live-fire exercises.
After Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi made the statement "Taiwan contingency" in November last year, China also conducted military operations for two consecutive weeks in the same waters from November 23 to December 7 of the same year.
