Statue Sheds Bloody Tears? Believers Stunned as Church Urgently Removes Statue for Investigation

A bizarre phenomenon recently occurred in a church in Italy, sparking heated discussion among believers and the public—a holy statue was discovered to be "weeping," and the tears appeared to be blood-red liquid.

The incident took place in the Church of Santa Maria della Grazia in Casalba, Italy, where a statue of Padre Pio was found with red liquid marks resembling "bloody tears" at the corners of its eyes, drawing widespread attention in the local community.

According to reports, church staff notified the parish priest, Girolamo Capuano, immediately upon discovery. He arrived to inspect and attempted to clean the marks, but found they could not be removed.

This statue of Padre Pio had been on display at the church entrance for about 20 years and has now been temporarily removed to allow further testing and an investigation into the source of the phenomenon.

Father Capuano stated that surveillance footage showed no one had approached or tampered with the statue during the period in question, so the origin of the liquid remains unexplained. He personally believes it may be a "sign from God," but emphasized that official scientific and church verification is still awaited.

As is customary, the local church authorities have launched an investigation into this type of "miraculous phenomenon," and no conclusions will be drawn until confirmation is obtained.
