TANJUNG MANIS,11: A total of 1,197 participants attended the MyLesen Driving License Course Program organized by the N.41 Kuala Rajang Service Center in collaboration with the Road Transport Department (JPJ) and the Sarikei Driving Institute at the IKS Hall yesterday.
According to the Kuala Rajang Assemblyman (ADUN), Datuk Len Talif Salleh, the one-day program received overwhelming support, especially from B40 youth who participated to obtain a B2 motorcycle license.
Out of the total participants, 820 were from the Tanjung Manis area, while 377 came from Sarikei and surrounding areas.

“This impressive participation reflects the high demand for driving licenses, particularly among rural residents,” he said.
The program aimed to educate participants on road safety and procedures.
In addition, MyLesen offered advisory services to facilitate the process of obtaining driving licenses through proper and secure channels.
Len Talif emphasized that this initiative serves as a vital platform to expand the government’s outreach services, particularly in the transportation sector in rural areas.
“I would like to express my gratitude to the Sarawak Government (GPS) for their commitment to the welfare of rural communities and hope such programs will continue in the future,” he stated.
