The Chinese People's Liberation Army's 'Justice Mission 2025' military drill is scheduled to conduct live-fire exercises on the 30th in five designated areas both north and south of Taiwan. The Eastern Theater Command announced on the morning of the 30th that exercises would be held in the relevant sea areas at the northern and southern ends of Taiwan, and live-fire at long range had already been completed in the northern area, achieving the desired results.

Taiwan's 'China Times News Network' reported that the PLA fired multiple PCH191 rockets from Pingtan on the morning of that day, but the landing points could not be confirmed.

Colonel Li Xi, spokesperson for the PLA Eastern Theater Command, stated that at 9:00 am on December 30th, the Army units of the Eastern Theater Command carried out long-range live-fire strikes against relevant sea areas to the north of Taiwan Island, achieving the expected results.

According to 'China Times News Network', the PCH191 uses a modular design similar to the US HIMARS rocket system, enabling it to be equipped with different caliber munitions through interchangeable modules. These include ten 300mm rockets, eight 370mm rockets, or two 750mm 'Fire Dragon 480' precision missiles. Information indicates that it is a type of long-range self-propelled multiple rocket launcher independently developed by the PLA.

The PCH-191, when using 300mm rockets, has a strike range of 150 kilometers; with 370mm rockets, the range exceeds 300 kilometers. If dedicated missiles are launched, the strike range can be extended to 500 kilometers.

The Eastern Theater Command also posted on Weibo, stating, 'The Eastern Theater Command organized guided-missile destroyers, fighter-bombers, and other forces to conduct verification and identification, warning and expulsion, simulated strikes, as well as exercises on maritime assault, air defense, and anti-submarine subjects in relevant sea areas at the northern and southern ends of Taiwan Island, testing the joint sea-air coordination and integrated blockade capabilities.'
