Hong Kong Star Holds Three-Day Wedding in Italy Rivaling Billionaires Netizens: The Ceiling of Weddings

Rising Hong Kong singer Tyson Yoshi (Ching Chun Yin), who has been in the industry for seven years, recently held a three-day wedding with his non-celebrity wife in Italy, spending a total of HK$2 million (around S$330,000). Tyson had previously declared that the wedding would “cover accommodation and hospitality for friends and family,” and with extravagance rivaling American billionaire Jeff Bezos, the event has become one of the hottest topics in Hong Kong recently.
Tyson and his wife Christy have known each other for 14 years and dated for over seven. He has written songs for her many times and openly expressed his love, including previous releases like “To My Queen,” “Christy,” and the proposal song “Would You Be Mine.”
Last year, he publicly proposed to his girlfriend during a concert in Vancouver, Canada. Their long romance finally culminated on June 19, with most traditional ceremonies—such as the gift exchange and registry—held in Hong Kong, before the couple flew to Italy for the wedding.

The highlight of this fairy-tale wedding was the couple's creatively staged “explosive” wedding photos—facing the camera, with a countdown, a series of explosion effects appeared behind them, reminiscent of action movie scenes, both highly creative and spectacular. Their luxurious wedding invitations, custom-made by a well-known brand, were full of artistic flair and sparked much discussion.
The couple enlisted a local wedding planner for help, choosing the La Foce estate, renowned as a “hidden Italian beauty,” with Renaissance décor, geometrically symmetrical hedge gardens, and classical stone sculptures adding artistic flair to the ceremony. The wedding theme was European elegance in white, with long rows of fresh flowers, traditional European banquet tables, crystal chandeliers, and baby's breath semi-circle arches, creating an atmosphere that was both sweet and refined.
A star-studded guest list featured Hins Cheung, Jeffrey Ngai, Serrini, Marf, Liu Junshuo and his wife Joanne, and other popular singers from Hong Kong and Taiwan.

The wedding lasted three days, each with a different theme and corresponding dress code: “casual chic,” “black tie formal,” and “playful poolside looks.” Guests were expected to prepare multiple outfits, and the bride and groom did not disappoint—the bride’s many looks garnered much praise. Tyson, famous for his muscular physique, took the opportunity to show off his fitness results. In addition, a succession of dazzling jewelry pieces nearly outshone the guests.
The couple’s thoughtful wedding favors included several types of perfume, film cameras, and a “recovery kit” containing toiletries and plasters, which were widely praised for their care.
